The Special Edition of SC2K was also released for '040 and PPC based Macs around the same time as the windows version.

On Mac OS X 10.4 with classic environment installed, Sim City 2000 briefly flashes onto the screen, but then closes and doesn't run the game. It says that Sim City 2000 was the first to include actual videos, which is not true.
